Our story
Olio Holidays started because too many holidays were being sold from a screen by people who had never left it. We build trips the other way round: someone walks the route, stays in the hotels, meets the guides, and only then does it go on the site.
That is slower and it means we operate fewer destinations than the big portals. It also means when you ask which of two hotels is actually better, you get an answer rather than a brochure.

To make a well-planned trip the normal outcome rather than a lucky one — by doing the research ourselves and being straight about what we find.
