Everything on this page exists because the same four questions come up on every first call, before anybody has chosen a hotel: what will this actually cost, how many days do I need, which month should I go in, and what does the paperwork involve. These are the long answers.
Where a guide gives a number — a villa rate, a flight range, a night-time temperature, a tax rate — it is either a figure we quote on our own trips or one you can check against a published source. Where something moves with the Union Budget or a bilateral visa arrangement, the guide says so and tells you where to verify it, rather than quietly going out of date.
